SOCIAL ENTERPRISES OF EUROPE – CEFEC is the only European network of social enterprises. At a time when access to the labour market is increasingly difficult for vulnerable groups, CEFEC promotes the development of social enterprises and cooperatives that create sustainable, paid jobs. As a participatory network, it acts on behalf of its members across the EU, connecting, collecting impact data, promoting the exchange of knowledge, good practices and mutual cooperation.
THE REUSE CENTER (CPU) is an environmentally focused social enterprise operating at the intersection of the circular economy, environmental sustainability and the inclusion of vulnerable groups. Through a network of centers across Slovenia, it extends the life of products by collecting, renovating, reusing and creating unique products from surplus materials. The CPU promotes a culture of “using what already exists” and develops innovative solutions for less waste and more social impact.
THE ETRI GROUP operates at the intersection of ecology, ergonomics, and ethical economics, with people at the heart of every process. The Etri Group brings together seven legal entities and works with 60 collaborators, 70% from vulnerable groups. They demonstrate how inclusivity, innovation, and sustainability can drive lasting impact. Through pioneering models such as the Mini Factory, the Etri Group sets new standards in reducing food waste and creating resilient, people-centered solutions for the future.
