TRANSPORT

Getting to Bled

Bled is easily accessible from all parts of Slovenia as well as from abroad. It is less than an hour’s drive from Ljubljana, and is conveniently located near Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. The town is also well connected by rail and bus services.

By Plane

  • Nearest airports are: Jože Pučnik Airport (Ljubljana) , Franjo Tuđman Airport (Zagreb), Vienna International Airport (Vienna – Schwechat), Venice Marco Polo Airport (Venice), Treviso Airport (Treviso).
  • For convenient transfers between the airports and Bled, we recommend organized shuttle services by GoOpti (discount code for €5 off: RFLI1CY94WEV).

By Bus

By Train

  • A sustainable option: take the train to Lesce-Bled railway station (approximately 4 km from the lake), followed by a short bus or taxi ride to the center of Bled.

MOBILITY

ON FOOT OR BY BIKE

✨ pleasant and most sustainable choice ✨

Bled is a compact and friendly town, so you can reach the Festival Hall on foot or by bicycle along the well-maintained paths around the lake.

PARKING

There are several  parking lots available near the Bled Festival Hall.
Parking is only allowed in marked parking lots, with conditions and prices varying depending on the location. In most parking lots, parking fees must be paid upon arrival (with coins, in some cases also with banknotes, SMS or the EasyPark app) and the parking ticket must be displayed in a visible place. In blue zones, the time of arrival must be marked with a parking meter or written on a piece of paper.

ACCOMMODATION

SAVA HOTEL BLED

For conference participants, we have provided an exclusive “early-bird” price of €225 per room at the Sava Hotel Bled.

The special price is valid for the first 30 rooms booked.

OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS

For those who would like to choose another option, we also recommend exploring accommodation in the wider area of Bled, where prices are often more affordable than in the town center.

Bled is a distinctly tourist destination, so we highly recommend booking your accommodation in advance.
